Η Αθηναϊκή Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων (ΑΣΟΝ) θα βρεθεί στη Σάμο για πρώτη φορά στην πολύχρονη ιστορία της για να δώσει συναυλίες για μικρούς και μεγάλους με ένα πλούσιο πρόγραμμα κλασικής μουσικής, πολύ γνωστών και όχι μόνο μουσικών έργων. Η συναυλία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Αμφιθέατρο του Γενικού Λυκείου Σάμου την Τετάρτη 7 Μαϊου και ώρα 20.00. Εισιτήρια: 7 ευρώ και 4 ευρώ (μαθητών, φοιτητών, ανέργων). Διευθύνει ο Παύλος Σεργίου. Την προηγούμενη της συναυλίας θα γίνει ανοικτή πρόβα για το κοινό 18.00-21.00 στον ίδιο χώρο. Η συναυλία θα επαναληφθεί πρωινές ώρες για τα σχολεία της Σάμου.
Μια πρωτοβουλία της σαμart σε συνεργασία με τις Διευθύνσεις Α’Βάθμιας και Β’ Βάθμιας Εκπ/σης Σάμου και τον Δήμο Σάμου υπό την αιγίδα του Ιδρύματος Schwarz Foundation.
Λίγα λόγια για την ΑΣΟΝ. Αποκλειστικός της σκοπός η εκπαίδευση των νέων μουσικών. Ο ομώνυμος, μη κερδοσκοπικός, ανεξάρτητος σύλλογος-φορέας της ιδρύθηκε το 1998 από γονείς, καθηγητές Ωδείων, συνθέτες και πανεπιστημιακούς. Μέλη της ΑΣΟΝ είναι μαθητές και μαθήτριες από σχεδόν όλα τα Ωδεία του Λεκανοπεδίου και από Λουτράκι, Κόρινθο, Λαμία, Σύρο, Πάτρα κ.λ.π. ΄Εχει παίξει στα Μέγαρα Μουσικής Αθηνών και Θεσσαλονίκης, στην ΕΛΣ, στα Παν/μια Αθηνών, Πατρών και Αριστοτέλειο, σε πολλά σχολεία και σε δημοτικούς χώρους σε όλη την Ελλάδα περισσότερες από 120 συναυλίες. Παρουσίασε σε πρώτη εκτέλεση πολλά ελληνικά και ξένα έργα σε διάφορα, συχνά «μη οικεία» μουσικά ιδιώματα και συνεργάστηκε συχνά με επιφανείς έλληνες σολίστες. Δεκάδες νέες και νέοι μουσικοί που στελεχώνουν σήμερα τις επαγγελματικές Ορχήστρες της Αθήνας «έμαθαν την δουλειά» στα αναλόγια της ΑΣΟΝ. Η Ορχήστρα αριθμεί σήμερα στην πλήρη σύνθεσή της περί τα 120 άτομα. Επιπλέον τα τελευταία χρόνια έχει δημιουργήσει τρία υποσύνολα: κουαρτέτο εγχόρδων, κουιντέτο ξύλινων πνευστών, κουιντέτο χάλκινων πνευστών. Από την Ίδρυση του φορέα έως σήμερα πρωτεργάτης είναι ο μαέστρος Παύλος Σεργίου.

Πιάνο & Αρμονία με τον Κωνσταντίνο Κυδωνιάτη,πτυχία Ωδικής, Αρμονίας, Αντίστιξης, Φούγκας & Σύνθεσης με τον Γιάννη Ιωαννίδη, Χορωδιακή Μουσική μετον Παναγιώτη Σκούφη και Διεύθυνση Ορχήστρας με υποτροφία ΙΚΥ στην Κολωνία (Τάξη VolkerWangenheim – Διπλωματικλές Εξετάσεις Ιούνιο 1988), μεγάλος αριθμός πρώτων εκτελέσεων έργων της Τάξης του Μαουρίτσιο Κάγκελ για «Νέο Μουσικό Θέατρο», μέχρι το 1993 Μουσικός Διευθυντής στο Ζάξεν-΄Ανχαλτ (πλήθος παραστάσεων όπερας και κλασσικής οπερέτας καθώς και συμφωνικές συναυλίες), συναυλίες και παραστάσεις όπερας στην Κέρκυρα, από το 1995 στην Ελλάδα ως καθηγητής Ωδείων και διευθυντής Ορχήστρας, συναυλίες με ΚΟΑ, Ορχήστρες Ραδιοφωνίας, Ορχήστρα Χρωμάτων, Ορχήστρα Πατρών, Συμφ. Ορχήστρα Δήμου Αθηναίων, παραστάσεις στην ΕΛΣ, συμμετοχή στην ίδρυση της Ορχήστρας Δωματίου Αθηνών και δ/νση όλων των συναυλιών και ηχογραφήσεών της, συμμετοχή στην ίδρυση και διεύθυνση της Αθην.Συμφ.Ορχήστρας Νέων – ΑΣΟΝ, από το έτος 2000 υπηρετεί στο Τμ.Μου. Σπουδών του Παν/μίου Αθηνών επιμελούμενος τις συναυλίες της Ορχήστρας Δωματίου του. Από το 2000 επίσης ασκεί την καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση του Ωδείου «Ορφείο Αθηνών».

Concert with the Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra ( ASON )
The Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra ( ASON ) will – for the first time in its long history – come to Samos to give concerts for children and adults. The widely known orchestra will perform a rich program of classical music of both very well known and more rare musical pieces. The orchestra is being conducted by Paul Sergius. The concert will be held in the auditorium of the High School in Samos town on Wednesday, 7th of May at 20.00. Tickets: € 7 and € 4 (pupils, students, unemployed).
The day before the concert rehearsal will be open to the public 18.00-21.00 in the same space. The concert will be repeated in the mornings for the schools of Samos.
The orchestras visit is carried out on the initiative of σαμart in collaboration with the Educational Departments of primary, secondary and high schools of Samos and the municipality of Samos, under the aegis of the Schwarz Fundation.
About the Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra ( ASON ): ASON has as its sole purpose the education of young musicians through the non- profit, independent association of the same name founded in 1998 by parents , conservatory teachers , composers and academics. Members of ASON are pupils from almost all of the Conservatories of Attica – Athens and Loutraki , Corinth , Lamia , Syros , Patra etc. The orchestra have performed in the Concert Halls of Athens and Thessaloniki , the National Opera , the Universities of Athens , Patras and Thessaloniki , in many schools and in public spaces throughout Greece – more than 120 concerts. It has played first performed Greek and foreign works in various – sometimes even “unfamiliar with music” – spaces and has often collaborated with prominent Greek soloists. Dozens of new and young musicians who today staff the professional orchestras of Athens began their careers in ASON. The orchestra currently consists of approximately 120 members of which 69 persons will participate in the visit to Samos. Furthermore to mention that in recent years ASON has created three subsections: string quartet, woodwind quintet, brass quintet. Since the founding of ASON and until today its enthusiastic organiser is the conductor Paul Sergius.
About the maestro Paul Sergius: Piano & Harmony with Constantine Kydoniatis, degrees in Singing, Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue and Composition with Yiannis Ioannidis, Choral Music with Panagiotis Skoufi and Conductor’s Foundation scholarship in Cologne (Class Volker Wangenheim – Diploma Exam June 1988 ), a large number of first performances of the Order of Mauricio Kagel for ‘ New Musical Theatre”, in 1993 Music Director at Saxen – Anhalt (number of operas, classical operettas and symphonic concerts ), concerts and opera performances in Corfu, since 1995 in Greece as a Conservatory professor and director of the Orchestras: MET Orchestra, Radio Orchestra, Colour Orchestra, Orchestra of Patras, The Symphonic Orchestra of Athens Municipality, National Opera performances, participation in the establishment of the Chamber Orchestra of Athens and conducting all its concerts and recordings, participation in the establishment and management of the Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra (ASON), since 2000 lecturing in the department of Musical Studies at the University of Athens leading the concerts of its Chamber Music Orchestra. Since the year 2000 he also holds the artistic direction of the Conservatory ” Orpheus of Athens”.
